 Abstract:  Marcus F. Roberts was a resident of Wayne County, Indiana, who served (probably in the Indiana Volunteer Infantry) during the American Civil War. He was mustered out as a 1st Lieutenant on June 16, 1865. He spent most of 1864 in Alabama. The collection consists of diaries, apparently kept by Roberts, before and during the Civil War, and a certificate.
